Biography
I am a self taught artist living in Senneville, Quebec. Art has become my passion and was a wonderful hobby to learn during the longer isolation times of COVID
Quebec winters are long and quite hard, ideal for spending time indoors painting!
I am a nature enthusiast hence do mostly landscapes but also still life, animals and some architecture.
I also ski, play tennis and golf as well as sail, hike and just enjoy life in a mindful way as much as possible with my family and friends.
I have exhibited successfully at numerous art shows and currently have a dozen paintings at the Souffle de Vie Vineyard in Senneville, QC. ( Baie d'Urfé Library, 2022, Degrassi Point Artisan Show, 2022)
I have been invited as one of 9 guest artists to exhibit at the annual Art by the Water Exhibition to celebrate its 15th anniversary in April 2024 at the Beaconsfield Yacht Club.
A winter Arboretum scene has been chosen for the past 2 years as the Morgan Arboretum electronic Holiday greeting.
My paintings were available at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club annual Artisan Show in October 2024.
Two of my paintings are currently exhibited and for sale at the Viva Vida Gallery in Pointe Claire Village till January 2025. (a juried exhibition)
The proceeds of my annual watercolour note card sale go to A Horse Tale, Vaudreuil/Dorion; an amazing horse rescue farm to help take care of 14 beautiful horses in their retirement years. ( $ 945.00/2023 which doubled the donation of 2022) My sale for 2024 is currently on till December 11. (www.ahtrescue.org)
Paintings exhibited on my site that do not include a price are either in private collections and/or have been donated to charity for fundraising opportunities, auction or other. (Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, Baie d'Urfé Volunteer Association and A Horse Tale)
